Tara D. Kendall

Tara D. Kendall, 43, 528 Circle Drive, died at 5:20 a.m. at home.

She was born in Marion to Herbert C. Hopkins and Dorothy (Jones) Evans. Her mother survives in Chatsworth, Ga. She was a 1979 graduate of Madison-Grant High School and attended Ball State University. She enjoyed painting with watercolors and watching the History Channel. She was the third of five children.

She married Stephen E. Kendall on Feb. 21, 1981. He also survives. She was formerly employed at Ram Graphics in Alexandria as customer service supervisor.

Additional survivors include daughter, Erica D. Kendall, and a grandson, Preston L. Blakely, both of Fairmount; two sisters, Rita K. (Dennis) Rund, Jenera, Ohio, and Wilma L. "Dixie" Hopkins, Elwood; two brothers, Zandall C. Hopkins, Elwood, and Herbert "Brian" (Mary) Hopkins, Summitville; and her mother-in-law, Kay Kendall, Summitville.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday in Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St. Burial is in Vinson Cemetery, Summitville.
