Ella J. O'Brian

Ella J. O'Brian, 86, of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away on January 2, 2002.

Born in Pittsfield, MA. in 1915 as one of nine children of Polish immigrant parents. She was the first in her family to graduate from high school. She moved with her husband and two daughters to Miami in 1950 and worked as a shipping supervisor with SunRay Chairs, Air-Guide and Campus Records, from which she retired in 1971. She moved to the Sunswept Community in Pembroke Pines in 1975 and was a parishioner of St. Boniface Catholic Church. A tireless worker, loving mother, nurturing grandmother and exceptional great grandmother, her positive influence will be long felt by her family and all those who knew her.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles E. O'Brian in 1990.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jean Lacz and Patricia Krause; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 SW 64th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33317 with the Rev. Naughton officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2002 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 with a rosary service held at 7:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
