Thomas married Sarah H. Beck and they had approximately twelve children. Thomas and Sarah's daughter Sammie married William Beck. She was a Beck before she married William. William was some 40 years older than Sammie. His birth date is approximately 1858 or 1859. They were married in 1908 or 1909 in either Ft. Smith, AR or Hugo, OK. Family lore has it that the reason no one would pass on info about the family was because of the shame of William and Sammie getting married. I don't know if it was the age difference or the fact that Sarah and William were either first cousins or closer. William and Sammie had two children, Opal and Zelno. Sammie died in March of 1816 due to complications of child birth. Opal was the youngest. Sammie is buried within horse and buggy distance from Hugo. My grandfather was only 3 or 4 at the time, but he remembered being left at the house in Hugo with a relative while his father and another relative took his mother's body by horse and buggy to a nearby cemetery. William had children by a previous marriage, and married a third time after Sammie's death, but had no more children. He was killed in 1927 in a railroad accident somewhere near Plano, TX. Opal was raised by William's brother Thomas Jefferson Beck and Sammie's sister Ellen. Zelno was raised by Sammie's sister Florence and her husband I.W. Dotson.
