Troup County, Georgia Early Families of Troup county Martha Elizabeth Christian, was born on the 18th day of March, 1832, in Troup county, Georgia. She has never married, and now resides on her farm in Gonzales county, Texas, about six and one-half miles northeast from the town of Gonzales. He was never married, and was killed in a skirmish with the Federals near Holly Springs. Miss., on the 6th day of November, 1862.
