Wedding Anniversaries in Ada County Idaho
CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING
Date: June 15, 1937
In honor of their golden wedding anniversary, the sons and daughters of
Mr. and Mrs. SAMUEL BEESON gave a party for the couple at the
Beeson home Tuesday, June 15.
A huge wedding cake decorated the tea table, flanked by four yellow tapers. The cake was cut by the bride of 50 years.
Those present, aside from the relatives, were members of the Friends
church of Star, of which Mr. and Mrs. Beeson are charter members. Out
of town guest were the Reverend and Mrs. Sidney Olson, and son of Filer
and Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Beeson and daughter, Mrs. Inez Cooper;
Mrs. Mary Beeson Dickson, Mrs. Alonzo Rinard, Mrs. and Mrs. Vernon
Beeson and Mrs. and Mrs. Carl Beeson and family, all of Boise.
ELLA R. SHINKLE and SAMUEL BEESON were married near Mankato, Kansas
June 15, 1887. They came to Idaho in 1901. They were pioneers in
the Twin Falls country near Buhl when it was first opened for
settlement.
Mrs. and Mrs. Beeson have three sons, Carl and Vernon of Boise, and Roy
of Star, and one daughter, Beulah Olson of Filer. There are 11
