Funeral Notice
The funeral of the late Ben C. Benson will be held from the family
home, 1610 North Eleventh street, Saturday at 1:30. The services
will be conducted by Rev. A. L. Chapman and interment will be at Dry
Creek.

Bishop of Idaho Dead at His Home in Boise
Boise, Idaho, Dec. 2 – Right Rev. Funston, Episcopalian Bishop of
Idaho, died suddenly at his home in Boise at 1 o'clock this morning.

Claude Brittingham Dies At Meridian, Ida.
Mrs. A. Dunn and her son, C. A. Brittingham, were called to Vale last
week to attend the funeral of Claude E. Brittingham, son and brother,
respectively, who had died from heart trouble. Deceased formerly
resided in this city and was quite well known to the older
population. Later he went over to the Drewsey neighborhood where
he was married to a sister of Albert and Will Altnow in 1900.
Later he and his wife moved to Vale where they lived until recently
when he had bought a farm over at Wilder, Idaho. According to
information given this paper deceased had retired the night before his
demise in apparent good health, and during the night was taken with a
coughing spell which was followed soon by his death. His mother
and brother returned home the fore part of this week.

Died
At Boise City, I.T., June 29, 1872, Cora Adema, infant daughter of
Thomas M. and Ella R. Britten, and granddaughter of J. M. and R. C.
Shepherd; aged two months and ten days. We understand that the mother
is very low with typhoid fever.

Died
In Boise City, Idaho Territory, on the 28th of August, John C. Henley,
aged 36 years. Mr. Henley crossed the Plains from Iowa City, Iowa, to
Auburn, Oregon, in 1862; from ?Auburn he went to Idaho City; he was a
genial, nice gentleman, and respected by all who knew him; he was
buried with Masonic honors, by Shoshone Lodge, of Boise City.

Frank Cummins Dies in Boise
The Idaho Statesman announces the death of Frank Cummins at his home in
that city on last Saturday, Oct. 18, from hemorrhage of the
brain. He was 42 years old. Frank formerly resided in this
section but has been engaged in the stock business in Malheur county
for several years. His father, Chauncy Cummins, formerly
lived in Burns where he was engaged in the hardware business associated
with I. S. Geer. Chauncy is quite sick at his Boise home
suffering from typhoid fever.
