Kelly's Concert-The concert on last Tuesday evening, at the Overland Hotel, was largely attended. The hall early in the evening, was filled to overflowing by both ladies and gentlemen, and was the most fashionable entertainment ever given in this city. Mr. Kelly is so well known it is unnecessary to call the attention of the public to him, but the performances of the Indian child Willlie, under Mr. K's tuition is truly wonderful, and is supposed to be the greatest contortionist of his age living. The child Willie, was captured from the Snake Indians by Jeff. Standerfer during his expedition through the Snake country in'63. He was found nursing on the breast of his dead mother, and brought by Mr. Standerfer to Placerville, where he was given to Mr. Kelly.

The Ball Tuesday Evening-Making mention of the dancing parties given at the Overland Hotel is getting to be like a Fourth of July oration-it is difficult to produce any thing new on the subject. But the party of last Tuesday night was an elegant one. About the usual number were present; time passed pleasantly, and general good feeling prevailed. If Mallory & Young continue to have such splendid dances at their hall, there certainly will be a rise in sole leather.

It was the general remark of those who were there that it was the most pleasant dancing party ever had in Boise City, and reflected much credit on the proprietors. These gentlemen know how to get up a ball as well as how to keep hotel.

Change of Residence-Captain Griffin, of the Overland Hotel, has rented Mr. Sterling's place on Grover street and Mrs. Griffin and their daughter in law, Mrs. Ella Griffin, moved down there yesterday. Mrs. Griffin and daughter in law have been in poor health ever since the death of Mr. A.J. Griffin, and they have taken this residence for more retirement, thinking it will be an advantage to get out of the worry, bustle and care of the hotel.
