JOHN H. FALK
Former Atchison Resident Dies
John H. Falk, 71, formerly of Atchison, died Saturday night at a hospital in Blackfoot, Ida., of a heart condition. He suffered a heart attack six weeks ago. Mr. Falk was employed in the county clerk's office at Blackfoot.
    
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the Catholic church in Blackfoot. Burial will be in a cemetery at Boise, Ida.
    
Mr. Falk is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Hough, Boise, Ida, Mrs. Margaret H---e, Blackfoot, Ida., and Mrs. Henrietta Curtis, Boise, a son, Carl Falk of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Anne J. Falk and Mrs. Rose McGrath of Atchison, two brothers, Henry A. Falk, Atchison county commissioners, and Herbert T. Falk, Burley, Ida, and nine grandchildren.
    
A son of Charles H. and Elizabeth Wolters Falk. John H. Falk was born on a farm one mile north of Atchison. He was educated in the parochial schools of Atchison and the Atchison Business College.
    
He married Miss Margaret Gresl of Andale, Kas, in 1909. The family moved to Idaho about 36 years ago. At the time of his marriage Mr. Falk was a farmer. Later he engaged in the grocery business in Beattie, Kas. He also operated a grocery in Blackfoot for a number of years.
