Boundary County was formed from Bonner County and established January 23, 1915 with its county seat at Bonners Ferry. It was so named because it borders Canada in the north, Washington on the west, and Montana on the east as well as Bonner County on the south.

As your Idaho State Coordinator, I try to post as much source data online as possible in order to make it freely available to all researchers. We gratefully accept contributions of raw data such as census information, marriage/birth/death records, obituaries, county histories, biographies, old newspaper items - anything that would help someone build their family tree!
