A. Champagne returned last week to Challis from
Canada. He stopped at Cheyenne, Wyoming, a few days, and reports having seen
Frank Ayers, one of the murders of Noyes, at Champagne Station a short time ago,
and for whom there is a reward of $500. Ayers would not tell where Green, his
partner, was. He showed Champagne several hundred dollars in money.
