FARMERS' BODY
SENT BACK TO HOLLISTER
Hollister, July 31-The body of George M. Turner, 72,
arrived yesterday for burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Turner died
in Challis, Idaho, where he went after many years as an orchardist
in San Benito county. He left instructions that he be buried in
California. He died at the home of his son in law, John Boyd, former
Hollister resident.

Friend Loses Life in Christmas
Accident
Jay Beus left for Challis Tuesday morning to attend
funeral services of his friend and neighbor, Bishop Ben Tibbets who was
accidentally shot at his home in Challis Christmas Day.
