Forest Cemetery
Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho
This cemetery consists of 20.7 acres of very beautiful lawn and
pine trees which is well maintained. Forest Cemetery has a special
place in my heart as this is where both my parents and two younger brothers are
buried. When I go to visit the cemetery there is such a feeling of
peacefulness and beauty. The cemetery was originally owned by the U.S.
Army at Fort Sherman from 1877 to 1898 and was then purchased by the
City of Coeur d' Alene.
