Killed In Korea
Lt. Robert MacDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin MacDonald of the Hudson
Bay resort at Bayview, Idaho, was killed in action in Korea, October
28. He was an officer of company C, 31st regiment, seventh infantry
division. He was a graduate of Bonners Ferry (Idaho) high school and
the University of Idaho. His widow, Ruth Lotspeich MacDonald is a
dietician for the Idaho club at the University of Idaho.

W. B. Dingle of Coeur d'Alene Graduates From Camp Funston
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Through the committee on public information the
adjutant general's office gave out the names of graduates from the
third officers' training camp at Camp Funston, Kas. Nearly half a
hundred men from intermountain states and Pacific slope were in the
list, being artillery. Those from Idaho and Oregon are: Black,
Samuel, Portland, Ore.; Dingle, William B., Coeur d'Alene, Ida.
