Died from Scalding - The little son of A. Seitel, who accidentally fell into a tub of boiling water, lingered along until Tuesday morning, when death put a period to his sufferings. The deceased was an only son, born in 1864, and was a very promising boy. His parents have the sympathies of the entire community in their sore affliction - Walla Walla Statesman..

John Long, an old laborer and prospector, was accidentally drowned in Snake river at Guffey, Owyhee county. He rode his horse into that stream and both the rider and the animal were drowned.
