Married, on Sunday last, Mr. Wm. Payne, of Oreana, and Mrs. Lee, of Bruneau, the former aged 72 and the latter 69 years, Judge M. M. Kraig officiating. The Avalanche wishes the venerable couple every happiness.

Prather/Schutz
W. A. Cloud, county recorder, issued a marriage license to Thomas Prather and Miss Raye Schutz, both of Delamar, Owyhee county, Wednesday and they were married by Probate Judge Ledman.

Ballard/Stevens
SILVER CITY, May 2. – On Sunday last Sheriff E. L. Ballard, of Owyhee county, was married to Miss Nellie Stevens at the residence of the bride’s parents in Flint. Judge Lewis officiated. The bride is a daughter of William Stevens, formerly sheriff of the county. Sheriff Ballard and his charming bride have the best wishes of a multitude of Owyhee friends.

Herbert Willard Austin of Wilson, Owyhee county, and Miss Mary Gladys Walker of Enterprise, Owyhee county, were married in Christ church at 7 o’clock Wednesday evening by Rev. D. H. Jones. They will make their home in Enterprise.

Stodard/Justice
MARRIED. – The Owyhee Avalanche makes a very clever report of the marriage ceremonies of Mr. George Stodard and Miss Kate Justice, which took place at the Idaho Hotel on Sunday evening, the 12th inst. Miss Justice, the Avalanche says, is the handsomest young lady in all Idaho. Of course we do not doubt the correctness of this statement, but the wistful glances of a bachelor editor look upon every bride in about the same way.
