Established in March of 2000, we used to be known solely as Illinois Trails and worked on transcribing only Illinois data. On March 1, 2006, we created the Genealogy Trails History Group and became known as Illinois Genealogy Trails to go along with the expansion of handling data for all 50 states. Here at Genealogy Trails, we will always give contributors the credit they deserve when they contribute data to our sites. And we will ALWAYS abide by a researcher's request to remove their contributed data if ever asked to.
