Bernard H. Winking

Bernard H. Winking was born February 21, 1838 in Gerske near Coesfeld, Westphalia, came to Quincy in 1857, where he was occupied for many years as a cooper. Here he married Christina Lügering. The husband died February 18, 1909; his wife is still living. Sons are Bernard, Heinrich, Franz, Hermann, Wilhelm, and Anton in this city. Daughters are Sister Edeltrudis in Belleville, Illinois, Mrs. Georg Brink, Mrs. Wilhelm Brinks and Miss Anna Winking of this city. This is also some of my family.
