Georg Hohenadel
Georg Hohenadel was born September 26, 1819 at Möllenbach, Hesse, was married there to Gertrude Marie Rech; his wife was born in the same town July 30, 1824. In 1845 the couple emigrated to the United States and settled in Quincy where the husband pursued his trade as stone mason for many years. In 1887 the family moved to Chicago, where his wife died May 26, 1901. He followed her in death December 15, 1905. A son, Franz, lives in Chicago; another son Georg resides in Kansas City, Missouri. A daughter Mrs. Emilie Morehouse lives in Quincy.
