IN
MEMORIAM OF HER
In loving memory of Avis
M. Beasley
Who departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 19th, 1926

Days of sadness of't
come o'er us
Tears of silence often flow.
Love shall always keep you near us
Tho' you left a year ago.
Never shall you be forgotten
Never from our memories fade.
Loving hearts shall always linger
Around the grave where you are laid.
Sadly missed by Husband,
Daughter, and all who loved her.

AVIS
I
She'll ne'er be dead this mate of mine,
Who crossed the great dividing line.
"This true the house she occupied,
Her home for years, is laid aside.
The house is not my mate you know,
'Twas only where she lived, and so,
I'll look beyond the house of clay
To her new home across the way.
II
And when she went, she left with me
Of her loved life the master key,
That unlocked hearts and brought good cheer
To souls along her life's road here.
Unselfish service opens the gate
That leads to happiness' estate.
This key she bade me give to you
As she has done that you might do.
III
The house she lived in worn and cold,
We laid within the earth to mold.
But that was all; twas nothing more,
Then where she lived in days of youre
I would not, could not, say good bye,
For lives like her's shall never die.
The key of her unselfish love
Unlocked a home with God above.
Dedicated to my loving wife
Avis M. Beasley, who was called
higher. 3.20 A M Tuesday Oct 19-1926.
Harry Lee Beasley
