Olive Branch, IL.--EDWARD E. QUINN, of Olive Branch, age 60, passed away suddenly at St. Mary's hospital this moring at 5:15 o'clock. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harley Willis, and Miss Geraldine Quinn; a niece, Miss Georgia Timmons, whom he reared since childhood, all of Olive Branch; two sisters, Mrs. Allie Simpson of Cape Girardeau and Mrs. John Mardick of Carvillis, Oregon; also a niece, Mrs. Floyd Craddock of Louisville, Ky., besides other relatives. Mr. Quinn was a member of the Methodist church of Charleston, Mo., but had been a regular attendant of the Lake Milligan Baptist church at Miller City for the past 30 years or more. He had been a resident of Alexander County for 40 years. He farmed extensively, operated a saw mill and also a hunting club near Horse Shoe Lake. Mrs. Quinn preceded her husband in death about three years ago. One of Mr. Quinn's outstanding characteristics, was his charity to his fellow man. The body will be removed to the family residence near Olive Branch this afternoon at 5 o'clock where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the Lake Milligan Baptist church at Miller City at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. H. B. Atherton of Dongola, officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot in Baumgard Cemetery beside his wife.
