Carroll, Illinois September 19, 1917; served overseas 12 months with the 132nd Infantry, participated in the St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, Amiens, Troyon, and Marbonville Offensives. Served in the Army of Occupation in Luxembourg.

Private Otto A. Radke Son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Radke, born at Savanna, Illinois November 27, 1892; inducted for service at Mt. Carroll, Illinois September 19, 1917; served 12 months overseas with the 132nd Infantry, participating in battles on the St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, Amiens, and Troyon Sectors. Served in the Army of Occupation in Luxembourg.

Corporal Elmer Earl Ritenour Son of John and Minnie Ritenour, born at Savanna, Illinois June 17, 1891; inducted for service at Savanna, Illinois September 5, 1917; served overseas 10 months with CO. D. 132nd Infantry, 33rd Division and served on the Verdun Sector.

2nd Lieut. Ervin William Ritenour Son of Newton and Gertrude Ritenour, born at Savanna, Illinois June 12, 1898; volunteered for service at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. September 15, 1917 and served in the Quartermaster Corps. Reentered the service in June 1919 in the Aviation.

Sapper Harry Ritennour Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ritenhour, born at Savanna, Illinois May 35, 1896. Volunteered for service at Toronto, Canada May 9, 1918. Served with the 4th Canadian Engineers, 22nd Division. Active service at Bourlon Woods, Cambrai, Valenciences. Overseas 11 months. Army of Occupation at Troisdorf, Germany.

February 8, 1889; volunteered for service at Davenport, Iowa February 1917; attended second Officers Training Camp at Ft. Snelling and instructor and Superintendent of School of Arms, Ft. Sill and Camp Benjamin, Georgia.

Sergeant Earle A. Ross Son of Mrs. John Ross, born at Savanna, Illinois August 1898; volunteered for service at Chicago, Illinois May 11, 1917; served overseas 15 months with Troop K. 13th Cavalry and Co. B. 5th Ammunition Train on the St. Die Sector, and St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne Offensives. Received Distinguished Service Cross from the American Government for bravery. Served in the Army of Occupation in Luxembourg.

Private Harry H. Ross Son of Mrs. John Ross, born at Savanna, Illinois April 4, 1888; inducted into the service at Savanna, Illinois April 26, 1918, served with Co. B. 3rd Infantry.

Gus Schneck, Jr. Son of Gus Schneck, Sr., born at Mt. Carroll, Ill. In August 1896; volunteered in the Canadian Forces at Chicago, Ill. June 1, 1917. Battle of Cambrai, Boulongue Woods, and Passchendaele. Was wounded in one of the above battles. Served 15 months overseas. Army of Occupation at Dusseldorf, Germany.

Major Joseph B. Schreiter Son of David and Hannah Schreiter, born at Darlington, Wisconsin January 1875; volunteered for service at Savanna, Illinois April 1917; served overseas 18 months with Evacuation Hospital No. 1 and later with Mobile Hospital No. 3. Participated in the Toul Defensive, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne Offensives.
