Richard Burton Williams, born in Thomson, Ill., December 13, 1904, to Edwin and Mabel (Atherton) Williams, and died October 19, 1964 in Savanna, Ill., at the age of 59. He was married March 30, 1935, in Morrison, Ill., to Pearl Kauffman who was born June 7, 1912, in Columbus Junction, Ia., to Joseph A. and Anna L. (Edwards) Kauffman.

Both were graduates of Thomson Grade school and York Community High School. He was a plasterer, by trade, first working for the Groharing Construction Co. and later, going into the mason business for himself. He also worked for the State Highway Maintenance Dept. for several years. Their children, all born in Thomson, Ill., are Roberta L., Robert B. and Lawrence F. They, also, are graduates of the Thomson Schools.

Roberta Louise, born November 21, 1936, married on October 12, 1956, in Thomson, Ill., to Arnold J. Sikkema who was born July 28, 1932, at Fulton, Ill. Their children, by adoption, are Bradley John and Marcia Lynn.

Robert Burton, born Octobert 22, 1938, married on November 9, 1962 in Thomson, Ill., to Jeanne Houzenga who was born November 17, 1943. at Morrison, Ill. Their children are Kimberly Ann, David Scott, Brian Keith. and Chad Robert.

Lawrence Fay. born January 27, 1942, was married December 17, 1971, in Bartonville, Ill., to Pamela Sue Avery who was born August 23, 1945, at Sturgis, Mich. Their children are Michelle Anne and Jo Ann. Their home is in Peoria, Ill.

Lance Corporal Robert B. Williams, USMC, enlisted Nov. 1, 1956; discharged, Nov. 1, 1959, stationed in the States; medals: N.C.A. School Rifle Coach, Good Conduct Medal.

Lawrence F. Williams, A1C (Grade E.4) Air Force, enlisted December 11, 1961: Discharged September 10, 1965; served in States at Ellsworth A.F.B., South Dakota, and overseas at Naka A.B. at Okinawa; medals: Good Conduct Medal.

SP-3 Arnold Sikkema. Army. entered December 9, 1954; discharged September 8, 1956; medals: Good Conduct Medal.
