Of
Will Pierrott & Etta Connors 1900

Contributed by J ohnSharp

Will Pierrott and Miss Etta Connors both employees of the Savanna Times eloped to Freeport Saturday night and were married. They were followed Monday morning by the girls mother who carried the blushing bride back home with her , and had the groom arrested for perjury , he swearing when he perjured the license that both were lawful age , while the hard hearted mother in law insisted that the groom is 20 and the bride 17 . The young couples have been keeping company for some time and there is no real objection to the match save their tender years.
