
Sixty members of the Spencer-Benham Association together
with several friends, gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Hal Spencer at the old Spencer homestead on Sunday, August
16, 1925, for their 28th annual reunion.
After enjoying the bountiful scramble dinner served under
the maple trees they gathered in the house and listened to
the following program:
Music, Spencer orchestra, assisted by Dr. Ernest Oltman of
Sterling.
Recitation, Arnold Duffey
Presentation of spoon to the youngest baby, Lowell Richard
Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Spencer. Baby Lowell is
the fifth generation since Grandfather Naaman and Grandmother
Diantha Spencer.

Minutes of the 27th reunion and treasurer's report were
read and approved and the following officers were elected for
the 29th reunion:
Mason Duffey, President
Those who have passed away during the year are Elias
Spencer, Willis Spencer, Russell Riggs, Robert Spencer, Jr.,
Herbert Page and Clara Mulnix Spencer.
It was an enjoyable day from the first welcome until the
last good-bye had been said and we will all look forward to
the reunion of 1926.
