The annual Spencer-Benham reunion was held at Jordan Hall Sunday, with approximately 80 in attendance from Racine, Wis., Milledgeville, Sterling, Rock Falls, Freeport,
Port Byron, Rockford, Joliet and Polo. Following the dinner, the business meeting was
held and the following officers were elected; Hallie Spencer, Rock Falls, president; Richard Schriener, Milledgeville, vice president, and
Mrs. Hallie Spencer, Rock Falls, secretary-treasurer.
Mrs. Nora WOodin, SHannon was the oldest Benham descendant present, and mrs. Alta Druce, Rock Falls, was the oldest Spencer descendant presant. The
youngest Spencer descendant was the five week old daughter of the Ted Bakers,Joliet. The
1956 reunion will be held on the fourth Sunday in June at Jordan Hall.
