E. Benjamin Isbell and Miss Leta Mae Tripp came from Freeport this morning,
obtained a license, and were married by Rev. R. M. Ackerman, at his home.
They were accompanied by Miss Florence Blair of this city and Paul Salzer,
of Savanna.
The bride is well known here, being the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Fred Tripp,
the father being dead and the mother being better known as Mamie Tripp, who
was formerly a nurse at the Caroline Mark Home in this city, now matron of
the home for aged ladies in Freeport.
She is a young lady of charming personality and has been holding a position
as stenographer in Freeport since graduating from high school a few years
ago.
The groom is a stranger here but is highly spoken of by those who know him.
The Mirror-Democrat joins the friends of this young couple in wishing them the best things in life.
