Edward V. Immel, 81, Martinsville, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday,
July 12, 1997. at his home. He was the retired owner/ operator of the Immel Welding Shop in Martinsville and had
served as a sales representative for Flowers John Deere in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. George
G. Nika officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Martinsville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.
Monday.
Mr. Immel was bom on May 2, 1916, in Illinois the son of Robert and Ida Mac Galey Immel.
He married Jane Deahl
on Aug. 17. 1937. She died on July 9.1984.
Survivors include one sister, Barbara Thompson of Oblong; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by one brother, Woodrow *Chuck* Immel.
