The shooting occurred just at the end of a driveway leading up to the home of Dr. J. W. Rust, president of the village. Dr. Rust, who heard the shots, ran out and examined the man and woman and pronounced them dead. Immediately after the shooting Rose Larson, sister of the dead woman, who had been with the couple, was taken into custody by Lieut. Wolfe of the county highway police.
Miss Larson said the couple had been quarreling as they walked along the road. She said her sister ran as Fessett suddenly whipped out a revolver, but that he ran after her and overtook her and that she then heard the two shots.
I hereby certify, that I took charge of the remains of the deceased herein described, held an inquest thereon and from the evidence obtained find that said deceased came to her death on the date stated above and that
