Runge, 84, and his wife, who is 85 years old, were both born near Bensenville. Following their marriage they settled on a farm on Foundry rd. in Wheeling township, living there until 1921 and their retirement. They have since lived in Arlington Heights.
Henry Sieburg of Arlington Heights who was best man at the couple's wedding will be among the guests for the anniversary party. Others to be present will be Runge's brother, George, and his wife from Bensenville, and Mrs. Runge's brothers, Barnie and William Landmeier, with their families from Bensenville, and Mrs. Runge's sister, Mrs. Linda Runge of Elkhorn, Wis.
Sons and daughters of the celebrant couple who will be present with their families are Richard and Barnie Runge of Arlington Heights, Otto Runge of Mount Prospect, who now operates the Wheeling township farm, and Mrs. Amanda Harbecke of Bensenville. There are four grandchildren and two-great grandchildren.
Friends and neighbors of the Runges will be welcomed.
