The Effingham Democrat, Thursday, January 28, 1875

There is only one thing, which has apparently been wanting to render Mr. Hodebeck's happiness complete. This want no longer exists, for after six consecutive feminine arrivals at his house, the monotony of the thing is at last broken, and the seventh-Oh happy event!-is a boy!!! Now let Lee, Tom, Joe and Max cheer up, for after such manifestations of heavenly blessings, surely there is yet hope even for them.
