SUMMERS, HUSTON

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Know ye that Huston SUMMERS, a Pvt. of Lt. John MOONEYHAM's Co. "L"  10th 

Regiment of Illinois Cavalry Volunteers, who was enrolled on 1 January 1863 to 

serve 3 years is hereby discharged from the Serevice of the United States 22 

November 1865 at San Antonio, Texas by reason of Gen. Order No. 21 Hd. Qtrs. 1st 

Cavalry Division M.D.G. dated 20 November 1865. No objection to his being 

reenlisted is known to exist.  Said Huston SUMMERS was born in Franklin County, 

Illinois, is 23 years of age, 5' 10" high, fair complexion, blue eyes, light 

hair, and by occupation when enrolled a farmer.  By Order of I. STICKEL, First 

lt. 2nd IL. Cav.
