YAKUBOSKI, AGATHA RITES SET SATURDAY FOR AGATHA YAKUBOSKI Mrs. Agatha YAKUBOSKI, 78, 431 N. Bryan St., West Frankfort, died at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday in Union Hospital, after a five-year illness. She had been a patient one week. Mrs. YAKUBOSKI was born Feb. 13, 1882, in Lithuania. She came to the United States when she was 24 and moved from Harrisburg to West Frankfort 40 years ago. Her husband, Walter, died in 1948. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Mrs. YAKUBOSKI leaves sons Anthony and John, both of Detroit, Mich., daughters Mrs. H.W. BENJAMIN of Chicago and Mrs. John KERNOSKY of West Frankfort; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Michael KLIMAS, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. YMBERICK, MICHEAL 1911 - April 13 1936 Tow Men killed. Sesser,Ill., april 13 1936-Cletus Eubanks,17,and Micheal Ymberick,25 were killed today when the auto in which they were riding crashed into the side of a train at the crossing. Eubanks was driving.
YOUNG, ROBERT "BOSCO" October 7, 1932 Robert "Bosco" Young, 24, of Royalton, died in the Herrin hospital this afternoon from knife wounds which he sustained in a fight at Royalton last Saturday night. Four Royalton youths are being held in the county jail at Benton, charged with being implicated in the fight that resulted in the fatal wounding of Young. Those held are: John Shumaker, Tom Labusky, William Geff, and Joe Kost, all of Royalton. The fight is said to have arisen over a girl. October 12th: Tommy Leposky and John Schumacker (as spelled in this article) are being held, charged with murder. William Gess and Joe Kost were allowed bail late yesterday. Young went to work on Monday following the fight but Monday night he collapsed and became unconscious and was removed to the hospital.
