Havana, Ill., Aug 3. - Clayton Connor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Connor, and Miss Rosa Brillheart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brillheart, both of Summum, Fulton county, Ill., were married in Havana Thursday afternoon. The ceremony was said in the presence of the parents and immediate friends. The groom is a prominent young farmer of Fulton county and is well known to Havana people. His bride is from Summum and has a host of friends there as well as at Havana.

Miss Stella Upson and Em Derry were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at Lewistown on last Wednesday. The couple are both well and favorably known in this vicinity which we will all extend our heartiest congratulations in wishing them a long and happy married life. The couple went to housekeeping at once owned by the groom in New Salem township.

Oatman ~ Roseboom
Miss Florence Ineta Oatman became the bride of William C. Roseboom Jr., of Norris in a wedding ceremony taking place Saturday morning in Lewiston. Judge Frederick O. Mercer read the service.
The bride, who formerly attended Canton High school, is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Oatman of rural route 4. Mr. Roseboom, a former student in the high schools of Farmington and Canton, is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Roseboom of Norris, and is employed by the Canton Coal company.
Mr. and Mrs. Roseboom will make their home with the groom's parents at Norris. On Saturday evening, the couple were entertained at dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Federick Foster on North Seventh avenue. Mrs. Foster is the groom's sister. At noon Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Roseboom were dinner guests of the groom's parents, and in the evening, they were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Oatman.

Mrs. S.A Taylor Secures A Divorce At Canton, ILL.
Mrs. S. Adda Taylor, formerly a resident of Rock Island, has been granted a divorce at Canton, ILL. Her charge against her husband, W.B. Taylor, was desertion. Mr. Taylor, when living in this city, was in the cigar jobbing business. Mrs. Taylor is to locate in the east

Suit for divorce was filed in circuit court this morning by Mrs. Millie Gladys Maxson of this city against her husband, Amos G. Maxson. Extreme and repeated cruelty is charged. The couple was married Sept 2, 1884 at Lewiston, ILL and in July, 1908, it is alleged that the defendant struck the complainant with his fist on the shoulder, causing a lump, which it is now claimed is of tumorous nature and from which she suffers constantly. It is charged that on Nov. 4 of this year the husband slapped the wife and that her son was forced to interfere. The custody of a 12 year old girl is asked. Walker, Ingram & Sweeney are counsel.
