Earl Arnold

Earl R. Arnold, 88, of Silvis, IL. died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Illini Restorative Care Center in Silvis.  His parents were Joseph Herman and Ruth Pearce Arnold.  He was preceded in death by his wife Nedra, in 1998.

Mr. Arnold was a former resident of Hardin County.

Survivors include four daughters, Eleanor Eberhardt, Peetz, CO., Joyce Mattan, Geneseo, IL., Kathryn Miller, Colona, IL., and June Arnold of Florida; two sons, James and Michael, both of Port Byron, IL.; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Berniece Ostrom, also of Silvis.

Services were held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis.  Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Geneseo.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elizabethtown.
