Harold Cowsert

Harold Cowsert, 72, died July 5, 2008, at Pope County Care Center in Golconda, Ill.

He was a member of General Baptist Church, retired from Reynolds Aluminum in Chicago and then from Ozark Mazhoning and was the mayor of Rosiclare.

Surviving are wife, Donna; daughter, Cindy Swallows; son, Darrell; stepson, Joey Dutton; sisters, Elva Wilson, Fran Hickrod and Mary Cook; brothers, Frank and Larry; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.

Services 1 p.m. Thursday at Hosick Funeral Home, with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Elizabethtown, Ill. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
