Obe
Jule Creamer, 82, of Waukegan, Illinois died
on Friday, February 13, 1998 at Terrace
Nursing Home in Waukegan.
Obe
was born October 17, 1915 in Rosiclare,
Illinois.
On
October 5, 1937 he married Mayme Sneed in
Paducah, Kentucky and together they moved to
this area in 1952. He was a member of
Cathedral of Praise, Waukegan and worked as a
maintenance engineer at Johns-Manville in
Waukegan from 1953 until he retired in 1974,
and he served his country during WW II with
the Army.
Survivors
include his wife, Mayme; children John E.
(Annette) Creamer of Crofton, Maryland, Bonnie
S. Creamer of Orlando, Florida, Sharon (Randy)
Loesch of Zion, Rhonda Creamer of Chicago and
Jamy Creamer of Waukegan; grandchildren Connie
(Greg) Frost of Zion; Michael Alter of
Kenosha, Scott (Dewillia) Loesch of Gilbert,
Arizona and Chad Loesch of Zion; five
great-grandchildren; one brother, Hosia V.
creamer of Fontana, California; one sister,
Betty (Charles) Suits of Waukegan, Illinois;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral
service will be held on Monday, February 16,
1998 at 1:00 P.M. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME,
3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Rev. Dan
Hanners of Zion Church of God and Rev. Sam
Hemby of Cathedral of Praise, Waukegan,
officiating.
Interment
will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00
p.m. at the funeral home.
