Levi Furlong

Graveside services for Levi Erwin Furlong, 83, of Rosiclare were held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2006 at County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs with the Rev. Fred Birch officiating.

Mr. Furlong died at 1:05 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at Rosiclare Health Care Center.

Surviving are one son, Thomas Phalp of Creal Springs; one daughter, Loretta Suits of Cave In Rock; two sisters, Betty Hannah of Rosiclare and Naomi Moore of Goreville; one brother, Alonzo Furlong of Vienna; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Fowler.  His parents were Alonzo Furlong and Della Catron Furlong.

Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
