Carrie Gill

Carrie Gill, 99, of OKC, died Sunday, April 27, 1986 in an OKC nursing home after a brief illness.

 She was born June 8, 1886 in Cave-in-Rock IL.

 She came to Indian Territory in 1906 to teach school. She married M.A. (Lon) Jones in Wapanucka OK in 1912. The Jones were longtime residents of Lawton and Cache OK. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church, OKC. 

She is survived by 2 daughters, Virginia Abbott and Mary Helen Graham of OKC; 2 grandchildren, Vicki Clark Gourley of OKC and Michael L. Graham of Houston; 4 great-grandchildren, Brandon and Kelly Clark of OKC, and Holly and Jeffrey Graham of Houston. 

Funeral services 10am Wednesday at Demuth-Garrison & Sherman Funeral Home, 1145 W. Britton Rd., interment Cache Cemetery at 2pm.
