Katherine Baldwin Gill, 66, Bourbonnais, IL.
died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Riverside
Medical Center.
Shelby
was born April 22, 1940 in Hardin County, the
daughter of Kenneth and Verna Marie Belford
Baldwin.
She
was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in
Kankakee.
She is
survived by her husband John Darrel Gill, whom
she married April 30, 1959 in Manteno, IL.;
three sons and two daughters-in-laws, David
and Kathy Gill, Bradley, IL., Randy Gill,
Bourbonnais, IL., John and Jodi Gill,
Limestone, IL.; one daughter, Lori White of
Mississippi; seven grandchildren and three
step-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Cox
and Norma Cozart, both of Rosiclare; three
brothers and two sisters-in-law; Irvin and
Johnnye Sue Baldwin, Parsons, TN., Virgil and
Elva Baldwin, Colona, IL., Garry Baldwin,
Rosiclare, IL,; and several nieces and
nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and three
brothers, Russell, Jerry and infant brother
Billy Ray Baldwin.
She
was the granddaughter of the late Kate and
Walter Baldwin who lived on what is now known
as "Ranch 34" in the Hicks Branch
Community and the late Sarah and Uriah (Reezer)
Belford of the Dutton Chapel Community.
Funeral
services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
January 16, 2007 at Schreffler Funeral Home,
Bourbonnais. Burial was in Kankakee
Memorial Gardens.
