Clarence Sonny Johnsey, Jr.

Clarence Sonny Johnsey, Jr. of Joliet, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 11, 2007. Age 71.

Survived by three sons, Mark of Evansville, IN., Jeffrey of San Antonio, TX, and Michael (Debby) of Elizabethtown, IL; two grandchildren, Ben and Darien Johnsey of Elizabethtown; a brother, Roy T. Johnsey of Harlem, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maibelle (Nee Hollowan) Johnsey St., his first wife, Janice (nee Frailey) Bailey; and a sister, Nancy Osborne-Tomlin.

Retired from Dirksen Jr. High in Joliet, where he was a scince teacher. Member of the Wilmington Masonic Lodge, 208 A.F. & A.M., active member of the IHSA where he was referee, member of the Illinois National Guard for eight years.

A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, IL, on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 5:00 PM. Inlieu of flowers, memorials to the Wilmington Masonic Lodge 208, would be appreciated.
