James Jackson

James "Russell" Jackson, 71, of Rock Springs, WY. died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Sage View Care Center, Rock Springs, after a lengthy illness.

Jackson was born August 24, 1933, in Rosiclare, IL., the son of Percy and Anna Brandt Jackson.  He graduated from Rosiclare Community High School with the class of 1951.  He was employed at FMC as a relief operator for 40 years.  He retired in 1993.

Survivors include one brother, Bob Jackson of Bakersfield, CA.; three sisters, Judy Phillippe of Bevier, MO., Sue McMaster of Elizabethtown, IL., and Dinah Highley of Green River; and special friend, Gayle Kurtze of Rock Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.

Interment was in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
