Steven
"Steve" J. Lasater, passed away
Friday at his home with his parents by his
side, where he was most comfortable, at the
age of 37.
He was
the son of Charles and Judy Lasater of Mason.
Steve was born on March 23, 1970 in Niles,
Michigan.
He is
survived by his parents, Charles and Judy
Lasater; precious daughter, Miranda "Randi";
sister, Carla Lasater Gunid; Zachary (Amanda)
Wooledge, Muhammed, Muti, Farouq, Yusuf,
Mujahid, Adam, Abdo; and a niece Zeinab; a
sister-in-law, Cathy of Portage, Wisconsin;
Jenny, mother of his daughter; and a very
special friend, Michelle Simmions, in
Florida.
He was
preceded in death by his brother, Charles W.
Lasater, Jr.; his infant son, Steven James
Lasater; grandparents; and many other family
members.
Steve
will be missed by many. Steve will always be
loved and never be forgotten. He was very
special in all whose lives he touched, not
only in person, but through his very special
internet friends. He bravely fought a long
battle, and endured a lot of pain to live a
life for his pride and joy, his daughter,
Randi.
Funeral
services will be held Thursday, December 27,
10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home,
621 S. Jefferson, Mason. Steve's family will
greet friends Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at the
funeral home.
He
will be transported to Elizabethtown, Illinois
for final services and burial at the Lasater
Mott Mountain Family Cemetery.
In
lieu of flowers, a savings account will be set
up as an educational fund for his daughter,
Randi, at the Case Credit Union.
