Roger
E. Mott

Roger
E. Mott, age 62, of Kalamazoo and formerly of
Battle Creek, died Thursday, November 29, 2007
at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. He was
born April 25, 1945 in Rosiclare, IL the son
of Millard and Daisy (Showalter) Mott.
Roger
was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High
School and served his country in the U.S. Air
Force Reserves during the Vietnam War era. On
May 26, 1976 he married the former Susan Kay
and they moved to the Kalamazoo area in the
early 1970s.
Roger
worked as a computer salesman in many areas
around the country and in the early 1980s
formed his company, PDS Sports which operated
from his home in Kalamazoo.
In
addition to his wife, members of his family
include his children, Leslie Osborn and Steve
Mott and grandchildren Allison, Landon, Lydia
and Philip. Roger was preceded in death by his
siblings, Aliene, Irene, Geri, and James
"Bud."
Funeral
services for Roger will be held Monday at 1:00
p.m. at the Life Story Funeral Home, RDMG
Portage, 5975 Lovers Lane (344-5600). Roger
will be buried at Mt. Ever-rest Cemetery.
