Evelyn Roe

Evelyn Roe, 93, of Rosiclare, formerly of Junction, died 9:07 a.m. Sunday, September 10, 2006, at Hardin County General Hospital, Rosiclare.

Services were held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway with Rev. Robert Patton officiating.  Burial was in Lindale Cemetery.

She was born April 7, 1913, in Paris to the late Herman and Bessie Henson.  She married Michael M. Roe, who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Pisgah General Baptist Church in Junction.

She is survived by a daughter, Thelma (Jack) Conn of Elizabethtown; a granddaughter, Jacqueline (Johnny) Boyd of Elizabethtown; a brother, Gene Henson of Paris; several nieces and nephews; and a great-grandson, Johnny Lee Boyd

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
