Oran A. "Bud" Robertson

Oran A. "Bud" Robertson, 85, of Estero, FL, died December 31, 2007. Bud was born in Sparks Hill, IL, a son of the late John F. and Ula Robertson, he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Bud worked for Minerva Oil Co., in Cave-in-Rock, IL, and for Allied Chemical Corp., from which he retired from after many years of service. bud enjoyed vegetable gardening and he was a friend to all he met.

Mr. Robertson is survived by his 2 daughters and sons-in-law Janet and Chris Rigsby of Estero, Sheila and Paul Douglas of Puducah, KY; his grandchildren Deann Hughes, Carolee Carpenter, Monica Burchard, Phillip Rigsby, his great-grandchildren Christopher, Kyle, Kelsie, Paige and his special pet Chase. He was predeceased by his wife Juanita in 2000.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted in the Naples Memorial Funeral Home, 525 111th Ave., Naples on Friday at 2PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2PM.

Interment will be in Naples Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
