Leon Sisco

Mr.
Dennis Leon Sisco, 56, of Battle Creek, MI,
died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at his home
in Battle Creek, MI.
He was
born April 06, 1949 in Rosiclare, IL the son
of Jack Paris Sisco and Hazel Aliene (Mott)
Sisco.
He is
a 1967 graduate of Gull Lake High School where
he played varsity Football. He attended
Southeastern College in Harrisburg, IL. He
served in the US Air force as a Tech Sgt.
serving in Thailand at the Uthopau Air Base as
a crew chief for B-52 Bombers and then at the
Air base in Battle Creek. In 2005 he returned
to Kuwait, serving in civilian logistics
support. He received an Air Force Commendation
Medal for serving on Operation Linebacker in
1971-1972 and was named Airman of the Year in
1977. He worked at the Battle Creek Federal
Center for 25 years.
Dennis
is survived by wife of 32 years: Pranote

Battle Creek, MI; Son: Jack Kalo Sisco, Battle
Creek, MI; Brothers: Larry & Carol Sisco,
Bellevue, MI and Rob & Shay Sisco, Battle
Creek, MI Sisters: Phyllis & Pat Mulchay,
Battle Creek, MI and Michelle Sisco,
Louisiana; Nieces: Laura, Lisa and Maysha
Sisco; and Nephews: Joseph and Trevor
Sisco.
He was
preceded in death by his mother.
He
enjoyed taxidermy, hunting, fishing, fly
fishing, trapping, fur trading, raising
chickens, gardening, and cooking. He was known
for his famous barbeque sauce. He loved his
dogs Rocky and Arnold. Dennis loved Thai Noot's
noodle soup and he was very proud of his son's
art work and watching him play football. He
was an Eagle Scout in troop #39.
Visitation
will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service
on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Burial will be at
the Central Cemetery in Elizabethtown,
Illinois. Memorial tributes may be made to
Remember a Vet. Arrangements by the Bachman
Hebble Funeral Service, a member by invitation
