Sue A. Sanders

Sue A. Sanders, 57, of Rt. 1, Elizabethtown, IL. of the Karbers Ridge community, formerly of Pecatonica and Chana, IL., died at her residence, Monday, October 30, 2006 at 8:15 a.m.  She was born to Truman and Doris (Canode) Carter in Rockford, IL. on October 30, 1949.  Sue married David K. Sanders on June 14, 1969.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband, David K. Sanders; three sons, Gary and Dawn Sanders of Forreston, IL., Mark and Shelly Sanders of Pecatonica, IL., Brian and Holli Sanders of Shannon, IL.; one brother, Tom and Gayla Clubb of Monroe Center, IL; two sisters, Deb and Dan Bond of Stillman Valley, IL., Denise and Marty Winterland of Chana, IL., and 10 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. until Memorial service time of 6:30 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality, IL.  Reverend Harold Miller will be officiating.  A second visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until memorial service time of 6:30 at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley, IL.  Reverend Chris Braun will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Half-way Rd., Marion, IL.  62959; or Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 4424 Vogel Road, Suite 205, Evansville, IN.  47715.  Internet condolences may be sent to www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com .
