Jean Scott
V.
Jean Scott, 67 of Beach Park, died Monday,
November 8, 2004, at home.
Jean
was born March 13, 1937 in Cave in Rock,
Illinois and was a former resident of Winthorp
Harbor, IL. She moved to this area 4 years ago
after residing in Florida for 17 years. Jean
worked for Cherry Electric in Waukegan for
many years, and retired from the General
Electric Corporation in Daytona Beach,
Florida. She was a member of the Women of the
Moose (in Zion and Florida), a member of
Eastern Star, and of the VFW, Jean was an avid
NASCAR and Chicago Bears fan.
Survivors
include three children, Ronald K. Davis of
Kenosha WI, Michael E. (Carla) Davis of Beach
Park, IL and Sheila (Andy) Burton of Gurnee,
IL; five grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer, Sheri,
Tim and Brandon; seven great-grandchildren,
Micaela, Dakota, Tyler, Ashlyn, Kylie,
Jonathan, and Harley; a brother William
(Peggy) Schreiber of Tacoma Washington, and
two nieces, Patricia and Christina Schreiber.
She
was preceded in death by her father and
mother, Clifton Baylous and Iva Schreiber, and
her husband, Bennie Scott in 1988.
Funeral
Services will be held on Friday, November 12,
2004, at 7:00 p.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME,
3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, with Rev. Jeffrey Koth
of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Waukegan
officiating. Interment will be Monday,
November 15, 2004, at Oakdale Cemetery in
Deland, Florida. Visitation will be Friday,
November 12, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until the
time of services at the Funeral Home.
