Ruby Threlkeld

Ruby Threlkeld, age 98, passed away Nov. 17, 1991.

Born Aug. 29, 1893 in Golconda, Illinois to John Henry and Anna Sherling Reeb. Married Guy Neal Threlkeld Aug. 9, 1916 at Elizabethtown, Illinois; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She liked gardening and handiwork. She and her husband served as missionaries in the Northern States Mission. Served as a Relief Society teacher and secretary. Resident of Salt Lake since 1973.

Survived by a daughter, Clara T. Pieper, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandson. Preceded in death by her husband Nov. 8, 1963; two brothers, three sisters and one son.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 21, 2 p.m. in the McKay Ward, 1623 South 500 East, where friends may call from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers
