Obit: George Enlow, Pittwood Farmer dies; Rites

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Segur Funeral home for George W. Enlow, 68 , Pittwood Farmer, who died at 5:45 P.M. Monday at St. Mary's hospital in Kankakee, where
he had been a patient since August 17. He had been ill about six months. The Rev. Raymond Baer, pastor of the Pittwood Christain Church, conducted the rites and burial was in the Prairie
Dell Cemetery. Mr. Enlow was born October
19, 1882 on a farm near Paoli Ind. The son of Henry Willam and Fannie King
Enlow. He spent his childhood in the Paoli and French Lick, Ind. Communities
and came to Iroquois county in 1907. He had lived in
the Pittwood and Watseka vicinities since that time. He was married December 12, 1925 at Kankakee , to Rosie Boomgarden, who survives. Besides the widow he leaves
two children Harold of Pittwood and Mrs. Cora Williams
of Woodland; a brother, Thomas, of Mt. Carmel ; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
