Mrs. Isabelle Eckles
Died in Onarga, Iroquois county, August 12 of fever, Isabelle, aged 75 years, wife of the late William Eckles
Mrs. Eckles, mother of Hiram Eckles and Mrs. Adam Brown died on Saturday at her son Hiram's at Onarga. On Monday the remains reached Henry by the Gray Eagle and on Tuesday the funeral was held at Mr. Brown's two miles west of town. Rev. B. Edmiston conducted the services. Only a few short months ago her aged partner passed to the unseen land and quickly has she joined him on the other shore. She was a good woman, tenderly loved and respected and fully ripe for the spiritual harvest. Her age was 75.

William Eckles
At Onarga, Iroquois county, April 14, at the residence of his son, Hiram, of chronic diarrhea, William Eckles, aged 81 years, 2 months and 9 days. [The Henry Republican, April 20, 1876 - submitted by Nancy Piper]

George Enlow, Pittwood Farmer dies; Rites Here

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Segur Funeral home for George W.
Enlow, 68 , Pittwood Farmer, who died at 5:45 P.M. Monday at St. Mary's hospital in Kankakee, where he had been a patient since August 17. He had been ill about six months. The Rev. Raymond Baer, pastor of the Pittwood Christain Church, conducted the rites and burial was in the Prairie Dell Cemetery. Mr. Enlow was born October 19, 1882 on a farm near Paoli Ind. The son of Henry Willam and Fannie King Enlow. He spent his childhood in the Paoli and French Lick, Ind. Communities and came to Iroquois county in 1907. He had lived in
the Pittwood and Watseka vicinities since that time. He was married December 12, 1925 at Kankakee , to Rosie
Boomgarden, who survives. Besides the widow he leaves two children Harold of Pittwood and Mrs. Cora Williams of Woodland; a brother, Thomas, of Mt. Carmel ; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
